Transit, transportation, transportation 2 cast: What to expect at the public transportation show, the first episode of the series.
The show will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m.
ET/PT on TBS.
The series stars Olivia Munn, John Leguizamo, Olivia Wilde, David Hyde Pierce, Taryn Manning, and Adam Scott.
It’s a series of interviews with the cast members and their families.
The first episode, titled “Transportation: Part 1,” features Olivia Munns, John and Olivia’s daughter, Tasha, who tells the audience that she’s never met anyone who didn’t like their commute.
Tasha tells the cast that they’re not going to be a lot of commuters.
She told us, ‘I’m gonna go for the ride.
And I want to get to the train and get home safely.
We don’t want to have to worry about what’s gonna happen at the stop.’
She also talked about the need to be careful not to get stuck.
Olivia said, ‘When you’re driving in your car, you can’t see anything.
You can’t look at anything.
When you’re on a train, you’re just in the headlights of the train.’
So, you gotta be very careful when you’re going to the stop, because it can be really dangerous.
Transportation 2 cast members also discuss how to avoid the police.
John Leguisamo, who plays John Legato, said, When you go to a stop sign, and the cops are there, and you’re like, ‘What’s going on here?’
You know what they’re gonna do?
They’re gonna look you over, they’re going, ‘Oh, that’s the officer who is giving me my ticket, that officer’s gonna be a jerk, and he’s gonna say, ‘No, it’s just the sign.
You’re driving right in front of him.’
You know, it might be a little bit annoying at the time, but if you just kind of go on your way, you might be able to get away with it.
And the cops know that, and so you gotta just kind ‘stay calm.’
Transportation is also a show about the importance of getting your kids in and out of school safely.
Olivia told us that she thinks about what she’s gonna do when she gets home and she says, ‘If you’re getting home at the end of the day, then you gotta go home safely.’
She also talks about the difficulty of going home on a plane.
Olivia is from Chicago, and she’s from the suburbs.
And she’s like, when you get to Chicago, there’s not a lot to do.
You don’t have a lot going on.
So she’s kinda like, well, I’m gonna be like, you know what, I just gotta take a nap.
And, you have a little house in the suburbs, and I’m just gonna be doing whatever I can to get my kids out of that house.
Transporter 2 is directed by Michael E. Herndon and executive produced by David Greenwalt, Matt Thompson, and John Legua.
