A Canadian teen has died after he was accidentally hit by a car in a west-end suburb, police say.
Police said the 18-year-old was driving home from a nearby high school with his mother when they were hit by an SUV about 10:40 p.m.
Friday in the 8500 block of Dufferin Street.
They say he was taken to hospital and died shortly after.
The teen was the second Canadian in as many days to die in a crash involving a driver with a suspended license.
On Tuesday, the 18th day of a nationwide coronavirus pandemic, a Canadian teen died in an SUV crash in Winnipeg.
His name was not released.
